La Grange is more than a name—it’s a mindset. And it drives everything we do.
Rooted in the foothills of the California, “La Grange” is an 1849 mining town on the Tuolumne River, surrounded by lustrous cattle pastures – where we were born.
It is in the heart of La Grange that we established our love and passion for the agriculture and livestock industries, as well as a rich appreciation for the Spanish ranching heritage of California – a heritage forged by hard work, perseverance and the entrepreneurial spirit.
Not only does “La Grange” pay homage to our birthplace, but the Spanish term “La Grange” is also the female vernacular for “The Barn” – fitting for a pair of entrepreneurial sisters who were brought up understanding the values of the rural lifestyle. It is within the walls of “The Barn” that we were taught the value of dedication, drive, work ethic and passion – skill sets and assets we lean on to elevate your brand and business.
For close to eight years, we spent our time working professionally separate from one another -
Ashley as a free-lancer and Jessie in the corporate marketing spectrum. But we were forgetting where our true strength lies... TOGETHER. From the time we were small children, our lives have spun a similar song. Showing cattle, judging livestock, navigating college, tackling life... whatever it has been, leaning on each other through the good and bad has always been the ONE constant in our lives. So why were we spending so much time not doing the same in our careers?
After almost a decade of gaining skills and experience, we thought it was time to hang our hats on the most reliable and successful aspect of our lives... our sisterhood and love for agriculture. We leaned into our calling to serve others, combining our vastly different skillsets to deliver an integrated solution. Thus, LaGrange was born as a service that helps others, just like us, in an industry we care so passionately about.

Ashley here! Born and raised in California, I have always been a midwestern girl at heart.
My husband Jake and I have made Kansas our forever home, where we love focusing on all things show cattle. Not only do I get to breed and raise cattle alongside my family and bulldog, Brew, but I get to help awesome kids across the country pursue their dreams… having success in and out of the ring.
Take me out of the pasture or show ring though, and I am glued to my computer for all things design! What started out as a way to make extra money in grad school, has turned into a full-fledged passion.
I thoroughly enjoy working with clients to make their vision a reality. From ads, to sale books, to social media, and anything you can think of in between… taking a look and feel and creating a brand and “vibe” for YOU is what I am all about. Much like the pioneers taking in the beauty of the western frontier, I love seeing a vision come to life in a way words could not express on their own. I’m passionate about helping the agriculture entrepreneur build their brand from the ground up, because that is where we started!

Hi, I’m Jessie, a California native who’s planted roots in the heart of central Illinois row crop country.
I’m located in El Paso (Illinois NOT Texas) where my husband and I help operate the sale and show cattle operations for Tree Lane Farms – a 3rd generation cattle and row crop operation.
When I’m not working on the farm or attending stock shows to help our cattle customers, I like to nerd out over strategies, campaigns and tactics that help drive a business forward. My upbringing in the cattle industry coupled with my rich appreciation for the western ranching traditions of the West coast, has instilled in me a profound connection to the strong history and culture of agriculture and small family business, and I am passionate about playing a role in helping those businesses succeed.
Moreover, my extensive professional experience managing brands in all areas of the agricultural field has given me the repertoire to successfully craft strategies that will elevate your brand in the marketplace, cultivate growth and measure back to metrics that matter. I could not be more thrilled to continue the western legacy of entrepreneurship alongside my sister. I’m confident our contrasting strengths will deliver a collaboration that serves your brand and business well!
